After spending 2 weeks in the California sunshine we have established a second base in Hermosa Beach, LA ! A place so young at heart - middle aged professionals rollerblade topless along the seafront at the same time as pushing mom along in her wheelchair.....! Life, lest we forget is a great gift....! The Bleak Midwinter is upon us; though not it seems in the form of
frosty winds make moan, or "earth stood hard as iron"! Our warming climate grants us tornadoes, and north Atlantic gales....

It is perhaps apt therefore that The Mispent are navigating this maelstrom by headlining STORM in the heart of Leicester Square this
Wednesday 13 December.....Stage time 10:15pm. Come down for a shot or two of festive lightning. It's a very glamorous 350 capacity venue between the Odeon cinema and Capital Radio....and a big showcase with labels and A&R in the offing - so we need your SUPPORT....

Fran happened to be at The Pleasure Unit on the balmy night in June we played there. The artwork for "Climbing Frames" was her interpretation of our set that evening. She handed us the sketch as we came off and there it is ! Her website is www.francallen.com.au

We've gone for a warmer, more urban, night time, intimate feel for these pages - to coincide with the impending release of "Climbing Frames" (14th August.)

Just wanted to say a big thank you again to everybody that came to the 19th May and 22nd June gigs, and for making them such great nights. The latter was filmed by Youth On Youth as part of their "Sound Advice" campaign - thanks too to them. This will soon appear as a promo short on the Electronic Press Kit ! Email for a DVD copy !

And finally.........."Climbing Frames" - the new album is currently being mixed and is set for release at the end of July !

Icoros music are filming the 28th April gig, plus interview - watch this space.
